About

EmI am qualified Music Therapist from the United Kingdom who has recently (September 2015) moved to Washington State in America.

I play both flute and piccolo, most recently with The Heroes Band in Central London and could often be seen deputising for other bands and orchestras.  I used to play with a cellist and harpist and we could be found at corporate events, and special occasions.

I have been playing the flute since 2001 after learning the recorder since the age of 4! I received a Bachelors of Arts Undergraduate Degree in 2009 from Brunel University.  After a period of travelling and then working within Children’s Services and schools whilst also teaching the flute I began my journey to becoming a Music Therapist in 2012.  I qualified in 2014 with a Master’s of Music Therapy after studying for two years at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

I am currently working towards becoming a Board-Certified Music Therapist as I will be in America for the next few years.
